Hey topcop. You figured out how to post a pic, quicker than most. How do you like your Hogue stock?

Cajungeo, I like the Hogue stock because it has a longer length of pull, being 6'1" it fits me a little better. Which Harris adapter do I need and how do I mount it?

Look at adaptor #14

Or---You could install a sling stud on the forearm of your stock as cajungeo did & keep the stress of the bipod off of your barrel. Using this method an adaptor isn't needed. As far as which bipod you should buy that is up to you. You know what kind of shooting you'll be doing & how high rifle needs to be given terrain & you physical size. What works for one may not work for another. Remeber that your POI will change when you switch from your bipod to offhand or hunting type positions. By the way, nice looking Mini.

Good luck

The stock has sling studs already. I was not aware that you could mount a bipod to the sling studs. That just makes it alot easier. I intend on getting the Harris because from what I have read they are probably the best on the market.

Yes Harris makes fine bipods & in many different models to suit your needs. I like the swivel type, it works great if you're shooting on uneven ground. Sinclair has a tensioning lever so the swivel types can be locked into position too. Sounds kinda like an advertisement!

Good shooting

Hey topcop. If your hogue stock came with a fwd sling swivel stud, you are lucky. Mine only came with a rear one. So I had to rig up a fwd stud. The Harris, and B-Square bipods come with a std stud adaptor. Not shure about the Versa pod, but it probably does as well. You can experiment with a couple of dowell rods, and a rubber band to see what height you will need. Usually 9-13" for prone shooting, 21" for sitting, 23" or greater for kneeling.

I was wrong it doesn't have the front stud, I cornfused it with the 10/22 stock. Looks like I will be getting the Harris adapter after all. I have to many guns to keep track of.............
