I'm looking for information on how much this rifle should be worth. I'm assuming that it's a military target rifle. I saw one in a pawn shop and they didn't know what amount they were going to ask on it. It looks just like new and it has some really fancy peep sites attached. A very big bull barrel. Scope mounts are attatched but look as if they've never been touched.

Even some history would be helpful. Thanks in advance and I hope I wasn't too vague with the information.

I have seen them in pawn shops around here (montana) for $125-$175. Theye are not in the Win. 52D or Anchutz target class. Not a bad gun for young shooters to learn target style shooting with.

I believe the M12 is the same thing as the Model 5200 Target, which might be a bit easier to find info on. Excellend rifle, as accurate as anything I've ever shot. Sights extra and can run the cost of the rifle. Got my son's through the CMP when they were first offered a couple years back.
