My mail box says I have 4 messages. Can't find anything. What do I need to do to clear this out?

Upper right of any page, click on "My Controls" From that control panel, find your Inbox on the left hand frame of the screen

Bill, that seems to work OK but it still says 4 messages but I have a empty inbox.
It shows messages but there are none.
