No, but I got two new toys that I have been working on. One is a encore 22-250 and the other is a 30-30 carbine for contender. Have not got either one finished. Time and Space is the guilty party, but I am planning to remedy this condition hopefully this week end.
Good luck to you with the 223:
Steve,
Did you check on that one that I sent you the link to?

No, Cisco I didn't, Ol Wayne Fish happen to hae one fer sale so I got it.
:2guns: have i got a load for you! i shot a 3 shot group at 100 yards less than 1/2" (.450" to be exact). i got the load from a friend and he said it shot good in two other 14" .223's also. it's with BLUE DOT powder. it works great for p doggin, i hear. low barrel heat for lots of shooting. i like it because it is low in recoil and allows me to use a 4x12 rifle scope on my 14" .223 barrel. 13.5gr of blue dot w/40gr nosler balistic tip, cci-br-4 primer, win. brass. pressure builds rapidly, so work up in very small increments. it shows no pressure signs in my barrel but all are different. approximately 2900fps in friends barrels.

Hey Steve!! Hope this load works for you. Sounds like a good one. :ar15: :usa:
Hey Steve, try this one it works great in my Super14 223----21.5gr IMR 4198,wsr primer,Hornady 40gr. V-max Vel=3150fps It's a smoker,so lower about 1 1/2 grs to start with, and work it up! I have consistantly taken crows, and varmits with this load out to 200yds. Good shooti'n Ron

I've been shooting Super 14 Contenders in .223 since 1982. In that time I have had more different T/C .223 Barrels than I care to admit to, but the one thing is for certain it is one of my favorite cartridges for Handguns. Here is an article that just might give you an idea or two.
