Been meaning to get these posted. Here are two pics, one with the flash cone installed and one with it removed. I really appreciate this forum and everyones attitude towards helping each other.

Nice looking mini maddog. I haven't used a blast cone before, I can see how it would be much easier on your ears, but does it defete the flashhiders flash surpression?
BTW, I'm moving this work of art to the gallery where it will be displayed proudly
Thanks for moving this to the gallery Canjungeo, I posted it in the wrong area. Regarding the Flash hider, Dave at DRC modifies it into a true muzzle brake by welding in an insert in the end of the choate flash hider. Regarding the flash cone, I cannot comment as I hopefully am shooting the gun for the first time tomorrow. I think the 303 jungle carbine used a similiar device to the flash cone, didn't it? I will report range results when I get back.

Can you still get the wood hand guards - they look really sharp.

that mini looks pretty nice!
have you told us what kind of accuracy you're getting with it? does the blast cone help the groups?

nice gun. what kind of rear sight is that??? aftermarket? stock?
Sorry guys, I was off line for a week. In regards to your accuracy question, I am attaching a target that DRC included with the gun. It was shot at 50 yards and the three shot group is in the lower right hand corner of the larger square. About the rear sight, it is a XS ghost ring peep installed in the factory rear sight. Hope this answered your questions.

Impressive 50 yd group. Especially with open sites. Please let us know what your 100 yd group is when you can. I want to compare it to mine since I also chopped my barrel. Might be a bit more difficult to get good groups without a scope at that range though.
If I only had the funds to buy her! You want to trade up for a Ruger#1?

Good eye SWILL! I was too busy looking at the Mini!

That's why I bought her. She now sits in a factory folder. And she is sweet. By far the best mini I have ever owned.

oh cool, I didn't know it was yours now.
I like it in the old config, but I bet it would look just as sweet in a factory folder set up.
