I could really use some help here fellas, if you know of something, I'd really appreciate if you told me, thanks.
arrowbullet. do you mean someone that takes an AK and tries to make it look like a Valmet? Valmets have'nt been imported since 89. Do a search on the net for KREBB's (KREB's) CUSTOM AK RIFLE. He does some interesting work on AK's
Gunbroker.com has several,if you have not been to Gunbroker, you're missing out!

I know they won't be real Valmets, but I want something that appears just like it, and comes close to it in value. I found I couldn't get one for less than 1200, so i'll probably just get a Bushmaster 16 inch carbine, thanks.

I don't know what you meen by "real Valmets" DO YOU? I suppose "real" Valmets were full-auto! So if you want a "real" valmet, I'm sure they are quite expensive (as most FA's tend to be)!!!
quadfan. I think arrowbullet means a clone? Clean used Valmets carry a stiff price tag. Kinda depends on what a person thinks an AK is worth. I think the Valmets, Galil's, and early Yugo's are at the upper end of the price scale. I find my own AK's on the bottom end, but that does'nt mean there not as much fun to shoot! maybe there just a little cosmetically challenged:D

This to me sounds like he would really like to have a real one,but doesn't think he'll ever see one!
Kindof like me with a portable man-pack VULCAN!!

I have a class III Valmet Model 76 in 7.62x39. It has the fixed tube stock and there is no sweeter gun out there, atleast not that I've found. Have other class III's and they don't compare.

How do you get a Class 3 License tree dawg? Not that I could afford the weapons....or the tax....or the ammo that I waste, but I'm still curious. Thanks.

There is one BIG problem with Valmet's that I forgot to mention....There are no part out there for the Valmet weapons. Sure you'll see the odd parts for sale here and there, but there's no reliable source that I've been able to locate.
