View Full Version : Colt Sistema 1927
OK, I just got this pistol from L.C. Enterprises. Owner picked it out for me himself. He's a stand up guy and stands behind his word. I'm not new to the 1911 Pistol having one in the service. I'd like to revamp the whole Pistol except the frame. Who has the best prices and quality parts. I'm keeping the original parts stored away. Any help would be very much appreciate.:2guns:

If price is no object I would look at Kimber, Wilson. Check out John Masen if you are looking for reasonable prices.
you can spend alot of money going that route.cheaoer and more reliable to get store bought brand new.imho

I've never heard anyone say a bad word about Wilson Combat's products if you're building a workhorse. If you're making a more "show" gun, there are some companies out there, like Caspian, making Damascus steel slides. Those are beautiful slides, and you'd likely be the first kid on your block to have one.

this is one weapon you will not have trouble finding things to spend your money on. :D the sky is the limit here, but get it from a reputable source and i would recommend doing everything at once from the same place. the price is usually less and they are set up for your gun already. keep us posted. ;)

I bought a very similiar Handgun the Ballester Molina, the only difference is the Ballester doesnt have the Beaver tail grip safety.I bought new grips and replaced the springs polished the feed ramp and now have a very accurate and reliable Handgun.I dont believe this one had ever been shot? If you have any problems finding parts check with Natchez shooters supply in NY.They have it all.Good Luck!
Best!! :usa:
