Very nice Dr. Ed!

Actually, looks ver similar to mine. But I have a different barrel configuration. Have you done any bedding yet? I just did mine, and I still haven't found the time to go to the range...

Good day,

No bedding yet. I just got the barrel and Hogue stock in the mail a couple of days ago. I have ordered a Magnum Research carbon fiber barrel I intend to try and also intend to set up a Volquartsen or Green Mountain .17 barrel with the Artifex shims. I'll keep you posted.

Sharp rifle!!. If you'd like to improve the grouping may I suggest a KID Trigger. It's a little pricey but worth the money in my opinion.

Nice rifle Ed. How do you like the fluted barrel? The first time I saw one was at a gun show in the Cajun Dome. It grew on me. In time, I bought one for my 2nd project gun. I like it. :D

I got a Magnum Research carbon fiber barrel(16.5 in.) and decided to give it a try. Here's the result. I think it looks good with the Hogue stock. Maybe not quite as accurate as the 20" steel barrel but still quite good and a couple of ponds lighter.
