Bent Bolt

I've seen a website that offers a bent bolt for a Mosin Nagant, Armscenter.com. The only problem is there's a 3 month backlog. Anyone know of any others?

I bought one from a guy but I'll have to dig to find where he got it from. It has a real nice bend to it and will look good on my Mosin sniper. If I remember right it was about $50.

I was looking through the Numrich catalog and saw they have bent bolts. I decided to call and check on the availabilty. They have them and they're $21 each.

That's a pretty good price. Are they bolted on or welded?
I can't find the info on were I ordered mine. But it's installed and the head space has been checked. Everything is okay and ready to shoot. :D

By the looks of them they're made this way. The only issue is that they're not finished. For some this may be a turn-off but I have a friend at a plating shop and he'll do it for nothing.

Buy Militaria Dot Com has the Bent Sniper Bolt (http://buymilitaria.com/mn_htm_files/mosin_nagant_sniper_bolt_body.htm) and they are machined from stainless steel. I haven't tried one but informed opinion says they are very good. I can't say whether they have any in stock, though.

Have purchased the bent bolt from Numrich. Paid $21.30 plus S&h.

It was "in the white". Only needed polishing up on the sisal wheel with stainless buffing compound.

The bolt handle is not long.

There were several of this type on E Bay.
