Norinco 982 12ga

What is your opinion of the Norinco 982 pump with the ghost ring sites? It is a copy of the Rem 870 but with synthetic stock and ghost ring sites. I examined one at my dealer and it appeared to be somewhat rough compared to a 870 and the stock seemed thin at the grip. Worth buying?

The price makes it very attractive and the fact that its an almost exact knock-off of the 870 even better. But its not an 870. Buy an 870. :cool:

On the other hand, a bulk purchase would go a long way in a SHTF scenario. Just my 2.

Hello I have one of the norinco 982 shot guns you talk about and it is every bit as good as a 870 has gost ring sight and and plastic stocks mine is for home defence
I like it I also have one with a bird barrel and slug comco shoots just fine also I have shot a lot of crows with it. my 2 cent
