Very nice formulad97. Is that a scout mount? Maby a pistol scope which has long eye relief, might work for ya.

I'm looking at scopes my self for one of my 10/22's
If you are going to use the scout mount, a pistol/scout scope. Cheep end: Simmons, Mid range: Weaver, Upper end: Leupold or Burris (both have a lower end scope which beats cheaper scopes in quality). I have a Leupold Varix 11, same as the new VX1 in quality, and price. I paid $179 now th VX1 is $198. It isn't a scout scope though. It is very sharp, and image is edge to edge.
Or a red dot. I have been looking at this one for my .357 http://www.millettsights.com/redo.htm but will work on any rifle. The multi dot is $111, and the single dot is $74 at Midsouth shooter supply.
Try a "holosight" type red dot,I think they work better in the long eye relief configuration than a regular red dot. The Bushnell Holosight in either type 1 or 2 is my favorite,I also perfer the 1moa dot surrounded by a 65moa hash-marked circle reticle.

Ed in K,
I know your down on BSA but I had one of thier Red-Dots for a few months and it worked great - only like $60 on-line too. I just gave it away or I'd send it to ya (if you're wondering it still worked fine - I just splurged on the aimpoint).
Anyway, isn't that a little too much clip for us folks on the left coast? Not that I care......... ;^)
Is that a flash hider I see???
I thought that was a big no-no in Kali???
