Hi all, im new here, but have been reading most of the post, so i bought A & B barrel with a houge stock. Honed the hammer myself, and did the the auto bolt release, and installed them on a 10/22 that i have had in the closet , and wow, what a dfference. Thanks for all the info that is posted here.

Don't suppose you have before and after group sizes for us? How did the balance of the gun change with the lighter stock/heavier barrel? From the factory the 10-22 feels nicely balanced, I just have to wonder if the heavy barrel makes it too front heavy?

Welcome to the forum captkenpo. I took some pictures of the 2 rifles, I'm building. Am getting walmart to develop on a floppy so I can post some pictures. One of mine has an A&B fluted, the other is a GreenMountain. Both look nice. The GreenMountain shoots nice too. Haven't fired the A&B yet, but hope to maby end of next week. I working on my "Mini Palma Rifle now"

Hey Fastang!
I have a similar setup. Not a.920 but a .720 barrel, and I feel the balance is nice, but I also like the fron heaviness. Then again, I almost never shoot off-hand, I usually shoot off of my bipod or sandbags.

I have the s/s fluted, with muzzle brake, it feels good, not too front heavy.:
