I bought a used Rossi model 971 which I'm very happy with, and just out of curiosity I would like to find out how old it is and get an owners manual. Does anybody have any ideas how to do this since Interarms seems to have gone the way of all flesh?

Welcome to the forum
Have you tried http://www.rossiusa.com/

Thanks for the reply icm. I sent a letter to the address from the Rossi site but it came back "address unkown." My local FFL says Inerarms is out of business. I've tried calling the gunsmith in Alexandria but keep getting the machine. It's no big deal. There are no problems with the gun. I was just curious.

Thanks again.

Sam Cummins, the head honcho at Interarms, died a few years ago. The company went under not long after. Either nobody wanted to keep it going or it was his personality and contacts that kept it alive.

I think Rossi has been bought out by Taurus.

Thanks for the reply. I actually explored the Rossi sight a little more and found the owners manual on line. Thanks again. This is a great site. I'm thinking of buying a Mini 14 once I get through Advent and Christmas and the info here is very helpful.
