Just got one. Found this link looking for trigger pull adjustment info. I would advise picking out your rifle in person as some of them look rough. Mine was filthy but not rusty or corroded. They don't come with sights at all.

Just noticed the date on this, 2002

Tom,

If yours was filthy and with no sights it must have been a used one. I have seen five that were shipped from CMP and were new in the box as advertised with all accoutraments (sights, spacers and handstop). You must have bought one of the CMP Used Kimbers for $150. The ones that were refered to in Nimrods posting are the NIB $600.00 Kimber M82's.

I did know about the $600 new ones, but they were out of my price range. Been enjoying it since I got a scope on it. Fun.

If you can or care to now scrape together the $600 buy the NIB Kimber. Then sell the sights on Ebay and recoup approx half of your cost. There is a posting on Culver's Shooting Page .22 Forum to that effect. But now that you have a Kimber and if it shoots well, then this is a moot point.
