I am looking at a used Tauras M66. Does anybody have one? What do you think about it? Is it accurate? The gun looks new. The dealer said that he sold it three years ago and took it on trade. I can get it for less that $200. I want to use it for hunting, but don't know. It has a four inch barrel, I would prefer the 6 inch, but some times you have to take what you can get.

What do you plan to hunt? Taurus makes a pretty good gun, but in my opinion a 4" .357 is pretty limited. I would want at least a 6" barrel for hunting and for big game (deer, pigs, etc) a .44 magnum is really better.

I use a taurus in 357 but it's a 6'' barrel. In my state 4'' is min legal length. My preference would be 6'' or longer. If you are stand hunting you might make it work.I've shot two deer with it and it worked good. But the range was reasonable;40 yds for one and 20yds for the other.I have a red dot also on this gun and that helps too.
