03-a4 front band

i am restoring 1903-a4 .have perfect" c"(a4) stock. front band won't fit top wood. is there more than one front band?

The 1903 A-4 should use the same front band as any 1903 or 1903 A-3. The stock you have might be over sized there. I will check more info and post then.

i'll consult rangemaster @ sunnyvale range tomorrow.he recognised my rifle when it was in the wrong(straight) stock so baybe he'll set me right.the one i have(from gun parts)doesn't look like what is in 03 mil book.:rolleyes: :rolleyes: :confused:

I got one from gunparts corp in the past and it was wrong as well. Lee's Gun Parts in Irving, Texas had some correct bands in new condition a short while ago. http://www.leesgunparts.com/
