11-87 Question

I saw a 11-87 Upland Special in 20 ga, and was wondering how reliable the 11-87 system is with 20 gauge loads. I have a Benneli and it never fails...but then that is a different gas system. Thanks -Dogman out:sniper:

If you have a Cadillac, why go back to a Buick. Haven't heard of any major problems with the 11-87 action or had to send any in for warranty. Wish I could say the same for Benelli.

I actually like the 'long recoil' system used in the Franchi AL48 if you use an Auto for an upland game gun. To me it just fits and points well.

I have an 11/87 for 12 years now and it has well over 4000 rounds through it over 1000 of them being Heavy game loads.
the only thing i changed on it was the rubber gas seal every
500 rounds or so other than that it never let me down .
