View Full Version : Black Warrior Muzzle Brake Results
I installed the Black Warrior Muzzle Brake last night on my K-Mini-14/5P. The difference this made in accuracy is astounding.
I was able to get to the range this afternoon. In the first picture you can see my sight picture at 50 yards using standard sights. In the second picture, see my 5 shot groups in the bullseye targets to the left. These 5 shot groups are from a bench rest, sitting position. The silhouette target shots are from prone position, 20 rounds rapid fire.
Before installing this muzzle brake, my results we not anywhere near this. These groups are with Wolf 55 gr. hollow points. Needless to say, I'm damn happy!:usa:
Wow looking good mlfox! Have you done any other mods to your mini? Thanks for the info!
WOW, you give me hope I, installed the black warrior brake and haven't had time to go out and test it yet. Maybe I'll keep that gun yet.

Nice groups mlfox! After I tried my BW brake, a while back I left the range with a big ole:D If you are already "damn happy", I don't know if you could stand it any better than that, but if you haven't already tried a smaller gas bushing, it will cut your nice "rapid" fire grouping in half or better, won't do anything for slow fire though. Nice shooten!!!

Thanks, Grinch... I have painted the front blade sight with a day-glo orange, added a nylon sling, and installed a Trapper spring kit. Besides installing the muzzle brake, those are the only things I've changed. :usa:

Thanks, cajungeo! You can bet I'm happier than a chicken chasin' a june bug... I've read the posts regarding the gas bushing swaps. I don't think I'm quite ready to go that far just yet. Right now, I'm pleased with the results of the muzzle brake. I had no idea that it would make this much difference!:usa:
