Received Aguila Ammo (32 long) for this revolver this past week and took it out to shoot today. Gun functioned fine, shot 28 rds. through it. What I noticed when I removed the casings at the end was that the casings were randomly bulged and in some cases split. What causes this? The normal ammo is 7.62x25, but the 32 ammo is supposed to work fine(just the gas seal is sacrificed).

(I also took my New Pre-Ban Cobray .380 out, it was great)

I can check my Cartridges of the World when I get home for the actual dimensions of the two rounds but it sure sounds like the .32s you are using are a bit undersize for the chamber. Don't know of any other explanation for bulging and splitting.

Saxonpig is right. I think it was Century Arms that was selling a replacement cylinder in .32 for the Nagant. The .32 is under sized in the original.
