Has anyone seen the 9-11 Edition 10/22's?

No I havent, where did you see one? sure would like to have one.

I'm going to the farm this weekend. I'll get a pic of the one I have. Ruger made 500/state plus 500 for Washington D.C.

The only ones that I have seen were by a company that specializes in limited run guns. Seemed like they were trying to capitalize on 9-11 for their profit. Took the $149.00 Wally-world 10/22 put some carving/woodburning on the stock called it a commerative and charged 389 for it with no word about any profits going anywhere but their pocket.

Please correct me if I am wrong, and in this case I hope that I am

Ruger did not do the etching on the rifle. An outside company purchased the rifles and did the laser etching. I have no idea who but an trying to find out more info. I never thought about the money part of it. I just collect odd stuff and the money is not an issue.

I'll let you know what I find.

This is the place that did the etching. They say a donation is made directly by the store from which you purchased the rifle.

Thanks for the link Sniper. Looks like they do nice work, but I bet it cost a pretty penny.

We took some pics of this rifle over the weekend but they're not very good. Will try again next weekend.
