Howdy
Cut my teeth on a military M14 way back. Always wanted to acquire one as a civilian. Researching indicates Springfield seems to be the way to go. Found this board and am wondering what you fellas and ladies might think regarding choices available. Thanks. Grotz

Springfield M1A "loaded" is the way to go. The "loaded" package gives you some good upgrades at no additional charge. I'm not sure if they are still offering it though.
