CMP Garand - Danish or US issue grade, Pro/Con

What are the Pro's and Con's regarding the different Garands from CMP?

US Standard Grade = $500
Danish Standard Grade = $425

I'm more interested in shooting quality than historic value. Is there any real quality difference between the two. Which is the better deal?

Which is the biggest bang for the BUCK?

You want to get the Danish rifle.

They have a mixture of US, Beretta and Breda parts, but are great performers. A good amount have be re-barreled and they shoot well.

Danish $420. Service Grade $520.

The Danish allows your budget to float the purchase of $100.00 worth of ammo. :)
