10/22 Bipod & manufacturing dates

Looking for info on a good bipod for my heavy ss 10/22. Anybody make a stainless bipod or do I have to stay with black. Who makes the best?
I'll post a couple of pix when I get mine finished. So far I have 3 10/22's.
Where can I find the manufacturing dates for my old 10/22 I have? Thanks.

I have always used Harris bi-pods with no complaints, as for the age of your 10/22 look for the post to Bill that was a link.

B-Square makes a nice "stainless" with adjustable length legs, pan, tilt, and swivel if you want it.
They are nice!
