I looked through some of the old messages on the board concerning magazines for use with the mini-14. It seems like two types of magazines got the best reviews. Ruger original factory mags and PMI mags. I'm not familiar with "PMI". Can someone tell me if this is shorthand for ProMag Industries. I have indeed seen ProMag magazines for sell on the internet. They are not cheap but if that is the best solution for my mini-14 I'll invest in them. Thanks.

PMI stands for Precision Mag Industries, I believe. Check them out at www.gunbroker.com (http://www.gunbroker.com) and other gun-auction sites.

www.jocoemprise.com/ (http://www.jocoemprise.com/) advertises PMI mags for $50 for a 30 round blue I think. A PMI mag isn't a Promag
