Handy Garand Device

I have started to carry a device of my own invention for the Garand. Since I am getting older and hate to bend over to pick up my expended en-bloc clips.............
Four feet of string tied to a magnet. I leave the string tied to my belt. The magnet dangles to the ground. As I shoot and walk about, the magnet grabs up the en-bloc clips. Those clips are just not expendable, they aint making them no more.

Saves time and effort. Give it a try :)
