I was going to mount a scope on my 96 swede. The smith told me $20 per hole to drill & tap the action, and $75 to bend the bolt. I don't want to do it myself but this sounds a little high. B-square makes a mount but I don't want to use a long eye relief scope. Does anyone else make a mount without drilling the action.
