SAW Pouches

I have a SAW(M249) ammo pouch that I use kind of like a mini butt pack. I added some web straps to the bottom to tie on my poncho roll. It works great, and keeps my load a little lighter. My buddy keeps his SAW pouch on the front right side of his web belt, opposite two AR mag pouches, he uses this pouch for empty mags. Anyone else use one of these great pouches for anything?
