I have seen two bi-pods available for the mini 14. One by "B Square" and the other from "Harris" which requires an adapter. The "B Square" would have to be clamped onto the barrel. Mine is a #183, and would like to know from those who have knowledge which is better. I do know that there is a price difference between the two.

Not sure on the price for the B square but I think it was around 69.00 in the cheaper than dirt catalog. Then midway had the Harris for 50.00 and the adpt. for 14.95.Thats the way I went.I don't really care for anything that clamps to the barrel but who knows maybe it will help out in the accuracy department.
Putting a bipod on the Mini14 detracts from its major advantage of being light and wieldy. JMHO.

It may be a little heavier but it sure makes it easier to shoot the gun from the tailgate of my truck.Plus it's the most solid rest I've used.
