Smith vs. Brookfield Mount

Is the Smith a true copy of the Brookfield or should I just spend the extra money and get the best first?
Any opinions out there?

How is the supply of Brookfields? There was an ad in a recent SGN which indicated that the Brookfield supply is drying up, so "get yours NOW!!"
