Perhaps you might have some suggestions as to how we may attract these more knowledgable members.

I suggest that more postings attract more members. If we keep the conversation lively, perhaps more people will join in. As far as getting more knowledgable ones, I have no ideas, other than to attract lots of members and hound the stupid ones until they drop out. Of course, that can backfire. I, for one, will not stay anywhere there is lots of bickering.

I think that perhaps people who are enthusiastic about the M14 are also likely to be quiet and pragmatic, not prone to talking about what seems obvious to them. There may not be a lot of grey area for M14 folks. That is not meant to be demeaning, for I am pretty much the same way. I guess, if we were the bragging, in-your-face, macho dudes we would all be on the UZI bbs instead of here.
