stock question

How do you tell if you have a commercial or milspec stock tube- for a colapsable stock?
I heard something like the tube diameter was .115 or .117 don't know which or where to measure? (my lower was built by someone else - I will be rebuilding it - lubing and greasing nessary parts , I just don't want to buy extra parts, but I do want to swap out for a magpul stock)

The width of the tube on the Mil Spec is 1.148" and the Commercial tube is 1.168". Also the back of the tube on the Mil Spec is flat, or straight, and the Commercial tube has got a slant to it. If I am wrong, hopefully someone will chime in........hope this helps.....
