Been looking for a quad rail that does not feel like crap in my large hands, any suggestions?
i'm probably the wrong person to answer, as i've only been into AR's for a couple of months now.
imo, in my limited experience, every time i pick up an AR with a quad rail, i don't like how it feels. i think a fore end grip would probably be the solution.
you have the s&w sport, right? i just put a single gg&g rail on the bottom of the handguard for a fore end grip. but there are probably dozens & dozens of options to replace the handguard, or quad rail systems to just put on the existing handguard. myself, i think the receiver rail and bottom rail will be enough, unless i plan to add the cup holder somewhere down the line....
the rail i put on mine. i suppose you could buy 4 of them, though i don't know if that would be cost effective?:
pretty much. its an AR, just like any other. of course AR's, have different barrels, sights, hand guards, etc. but AR's, for the most part, are interchangeable.

Get the M&P, better all around rifle and components in my opinion.
TG
yeah thanks, i did some research and it seems like the M&P is a way better choice compared to DPMS oracle or lo pro (bull barrel version), i have heard nothing but good reviews about the M&P, i have used DPMS AR-10 and i loved it but i think i will go with this and just throw on some optics and be done with it, it looks really nice for the price...this will be my first ar-15 owned and it seems like a great starter.
Yep I started with an ever day shooter for a cheap price $685 and I ended up owning something the Terminater would be proud to carry around. Plus it might take him to carry since it's not in the light weight section anymore lol
Thanks for the comment! It's always great that an AR fan think's your rifle looks good. I hear crap about me dolling it up but hey I'm not hideing from anyone LOL.
