Wal-Mart in Marietta, Ohio is carrying the Remington Ar-15 model in .223. They are also carrying a Sig in 22. Price on the Remington was 825. Sig was like 450.00

I have seen AR15's manufactured by DPMS, Bushmaster, Windham Arms, Sig and most recently Colt at various Wal-marts in Northeast Oklahoma. The Colt was a very interesting find.

In Springfield, MO the 4 stores I have checked have a number in each location. Mostly Bushmasters, 2 had the Sig M400 for under $900 and an occasional DPMS. They also have a number or .22s in the AR format. I have Only found them available in .223/5.56 But I was told that they will have them in 6.8 and .308 eventually, possibly at the end of summer in a varmenter format, (if at all).

The Wal Mart in Avon Park Fl has Sig AR15s, don't remember the price. What is the big fascination with Wal Mart selling ARs anyway?

I think the biggest fascination with Wal-Mart selling ARs, is that it reflects the current firearms trend in America. I think it goes to show how people are becoming more serious about self-defense, not just in training, but the types of firearms we want. Plus I like the fact that 'BLACK RIFLES" are starting to lose some of the bad images the anti crowd has tried to establish. I love it that a big box store is stocking ARs on the shelves right next to Winchester '94s and Remington 870s. One day ARs may become just another sporting firearm, not the infamous "Assault Rifle" the anti crowd wants it to be.

Like it has been said, in 1776 here, a flintlock was an assault rifle!

I was just in the local walmart store here in woodburn, oregon this weekend, and no guns at all.Just some ammunition, and airsoft crappola.Maybe it's because this is the illegal immigrant capitol of oregon that management decided not to have guns? Now that would be discrimination would'nt it?
Heck - other criminals can buy guns anywhere else in this state!

No guns at our local Wally mart either they have ammo, but no guns maybe the Feds paperwork liability issues, and having somebody smart enough to do the paperwork is too big a problem for the wally boys to actually do.

If your walmart has AR-15s in stock, please let us know.
Norton Va Walmart has the Bushmaster, Sig and soon the Mossberg MMR but its a first come first serve thing. Once the one in stock sells its on wait till another one comes in. This could take 3 days to 3 weeks. Plus I heard that the AR's they do sell are a lower grade AR.

2 Of the 3 walmarts in my location (they built one within 30 minutes of the others,. makes no sense) carry Ar's. Some .223 caliber and some .22, but seems they have overpriced some of them, like I saw this and was baffled walmart was carrying AR, so checked the price and saw it was around $300, asked the clerk to take a look, because this couldn't be true and asked. He said ohhhh no it was in the wrong spot that gun runs about 1300. :O not even a high quality AR

The Walmart in Hastings Nebraska had a Remington AR during my last visit and today I spotted multiple black rifles in York Nebraska. There were a few 22lr variations mixed with the .223's.

Bless Wally World. I doubt I'd buy a black gun from them but the thought that some are stocking and selling them is a great thing.

The Walmart on North 27th street in Lincoln Nebraska has a few black rifles. The 22lr version was available in Colt, Sig and Remington. .223 versions they carry are Remington and Colt.
