Which red dot/holo sights are being issued and used in combat?

I keep seeing different video clips of US military soldiers walking around with their rifles, but I see different sights from one clip to the next. You would think that for logistics purposes that the soldiers would be issued one standard sight, but maybe they have a choice, or maybe there are different sights issued to different forces(Army vs. Marines).

I've seen Eotech sights, Trijicon sights, and Aimpoints I believe.

So who is issued what, and which sights are seemingly favored?

from what i have read, the aimpoint is issued by the army most. Marines tend to go with the acog.

Personally i have an eotech.

Depends on the unit and the mission. In Iraq lots of Aimpoints were used since it was a lot of urban/cqb type shooting. In Afghanistan, Acogs and ELCAN are primarily used since most engagements are beyond 200 meters, sometimes out to 600 meters (hence the reason for bringing the M21 back in service with the average squad). But again, it is unit dependent based on their mission and commanders.

last time i deployed my platoon had all three, the standard was the aimpoint, then our top reflexive shooters preferred, and were given EO-techs, and our designated marksmen were given acogs.

we also carried an m-14 in one of the trucks, for our B-4 to use if needed.
