What`s wrong with Vulcan arms?

Vulcan, the God of Fire & Steel! For over a decade, the legendary gun- makers at Vulcan Armament have been producing exotic machineguns for our nations hero's! These rifles are now available in Civilian legal semi-autos with all the technology demanded by special operations pro's around the globe. Built to full Mil-Spec with chrome-lined barrels & hardcoat anodized receivers of aluminum or aircraft grade carbon fiber, they are the finest battle rifles ever made! Vulcan Armament is your source for American Made Galil® Style rifles, AK Variants, Semi-Auto Mac-10 Style rifles, the first 950rpm MP-5 style machine-guns & Mil-Spec parts.
Taken fron the Vulcan armament website. I know, Vulcan used to be Hesse and that Hesse was considered the worst of the worst. I never
used one of their products but they`re far from being cheap...anyone who has personal experience with Vulcan/Hesse?

I've never heard anything good about Hesse, under any name.

Neither did I. I just wanted to know what`s exactly wrong with them. (e.g poor craftsmanship, bad materials, malfunctions etc.)

Vulcan Arms

I have a FAL with a Hesse reciever and it works flawless. I shoot steel silouetts with it and it is accurate and dependable. It is 7.62x51 (308) and I shoot military surplus amo in it. Nearly every shooting sescion ends with a full mag as fast as you can shoot, which is ausume, with no malfunctions. I looked at their web site today and am interested in the V18 which is like the AR180 and the FAL, which has adj. gas block and outside dicharge. Eddie

They claim that their forged lower is Mil-Spec. If this is true, it "should" work with all mil-spec parts, right?

Yeah, basically all AR parts are interchangable.

Yes they will interchange parts like all the other Lower's.
I have one and the quality is great. Finish is nice.
Maybe they used to be bad at some point but I se no flaws now.
Mine is a couple of years old, all the ones I have looked at lately
seem well made ( Forged ones ) Haven't seen one of the Composites.

Apparently a rotating list of things. Lousy QC. I did order a bolt handle from them to graft to my 180B though.

With that AR-15 lower, I don't consider it a real 180 anyway, although I admit my Bravo isn't either. Certainly more aftermarket goodies will fit it than the 180B.
