I went over to the local big box store today to get some bullets and other components. I was floored!!!!! I'm still using primers that I paid $1.25 a box for and powder that says $13.95 on it. I've got lots of bullets that were $14.00 a box of 100.

I couldn't believe what they are asking for this stuff today!!! And the price of a box of loaded cartridges is two to three dollars a round.

Boy am I glad I reload!! This place has a row of nothing but bullets and its 30 feet long and 8 feet high and they didn't have one box of 35 caliber bullets for a 35 Remington!!

They have 2 aisles the same size as the bullets plus displays all over the floor but no loaded ammo for the gun. I wanted a flashlight but they didn't have anything under $30.00 and they were all LED's and I cant see worth a damn with LED's.

I came home and ordered what I needed from MidSouth and it was less than half the cost of the store. Yes I had to pay shipping but it was less than the tax would have been here.

These places have driven the little stores out of business and now they can charge whatever they want. I think I would do without the stuff before I paid the outrageous prices they are asking.

Besides I just love the melodious voices of the ladies that work the phones at Mid South. FRJ
