I don't carry 9mm guns often, but when I do, I use Winchester Ranger Bonded 147gr or Federal HST Tactical +P 135gr. My Sig Sauer P226R likes these load better than lighter ones. My Robar XD(m) on the other hand likes 124gr ammo more than the heavier loads. Different handguns will like different types of ammunition and weight. Test and see which works best in your specific handgun. Anything from the Ranger, HST or Gold Dot line ought to work well, if you do your job and hit the target.
