The Supermatic Trophy was my first handgun, and what a great gun it was. I regret trading it, but who knows...maybe someday I'll get another...

Anyhoo, High Standard is still in business...the website is http://www.highstandard.com/ and the company history is available at http://www.highstandard.com/history.html. They're still manufacturing the classic .22 pistols, but have also branched out and are making 1911s and AR-15s. From what I've heard, the quality is still top notch.
