We shoot when we can, just went through 250 .223, 40 9mm, 40 .45. The pic is after the shooting. We dont have very many places/oppurtunities to shoot here in the "Cowboy"state. The indoor range we go to is 40 miles away. When the weather turns better we head out about every 2 weeks. 2000 of the .223s will be kept in reserve and but the end of the "good" weather all of the bagged ammo should be shot. Then we will start buying again and rotate the boxed stuff through. Because of the cost of the .223s we limit ourselves to 120 (4 30rd mag) each. Then we pick up the 10/22s and go nuts. Leaving some time for the hanguns. We go through about $150 each shooting session. That kinda hurts.

I hear you. I have really limited my center fire shooting. I pretty much only shoot .22s now days  .
