You will benefit from spending your money on good glass for that 700p. I only shoot my 700p out to 600 yards at the range and that alone shows the need for good glass. Right now I am shooting a Falcon Menace I bought through snipercentral. They have some good reviews on optics for your rifle, might want to check them out. The scope is a fairly good scope for the cost but we now have night shoots and I could really use a lite reticle. My son has a Leupold Mark 4 on his 700p and loves it. Good luck and good shooting.
