I have no experience with the CD lever actions. I do have one of their 1911's. I bought it new in December, It was made in 2005 and had an issue with the bbl. I posted a question on a 1911 site and Mr. Kassner (President of CD) Pm'd me personally about the problem. He asked for my address and sent me a Fedex pickup tag. Less than 2 weeks later, I had my gun back with a new bbl.
I wouldn't hesitate buying a CD if it's something you like.
