Ya, for some reason Im a big lever fan too. I have a Win 94 .357 carbine. It one of my favorite guns to shoot and im confident that I can hit what Im aiming at 100 yards and under. Ok, not so much a tactical rifle as much as a SHTF utility rifle. I guess what got me started on the "tactical" was Sisk's old ad on their "stopper rifle". It was a Marlin 336 in .30-30 or .44 Mag(I believe they had one for the 45-70 too), all the metal was coated in a non glare finish, with the scout scope mount and had some other cool stuff done to it too. Doing something like that sounds kinda fun, .... but I don't know if I would do it to my .357, its to pretty the way it is. Maybe a .30-30 or .35 Rem.
