Did you actually release and then resecure the locking lever in the grip? If so, you may have jammed that little flat lever inside the grip that is supposed to seat in the circular recess on the inside of the locking lever....I think you know what I mean, its the short flat lever that you have to flop over when you secure the locking lever in the grip.
lol... I still haven't had time to mess with it yet. It's still sitting in my rifle case.

What I did was I pulled the bolt back to see if it was loaded, then started to pull the piece out of the handle and it wouldn't move... And then I remembered I forgot to fire it first.
