Several years ago I was fishing off of a boat in the Pacific. I caught this big hurking seabass, and was yelling for someone to grab a net or a gaff, but one wasn't available. I finally leaned over the side and tried to grab him with my left hand. In the process my watch slipped off into his mouth, the leader broke, and he got away.

About 2 years later I'm fishing in almost the same area and this time I did catch what was a large sea bass. I took him home and started cleaning him. When I stuck my knife in his belly the knife hit something hard!!

Yes! I had slipped the knife all the way through his belly and the knife hit a bone in my hand!!
