My boss has two SIG 1911's. One of them I worked on a little. The trigger pull was in need of attention and there were other things that I thought were questionable. The loose slide fit (compared to Kimber at a lesser price point) was probably in spec but very loose. Also, the slide was too far forward when in battery, showing the tail end of the ejector and rails when locked up. I reworked these issues and others, but again, my overall impression was blah. The second pistol I would not work on because the thumb safety was inop from the factory. I could have easily fixed this, but, I preferred that SIG take the pistol back on warranty. Just my 2 cents....
