Here is my Norinco 1911A1
I recently purchased this from a gentlemen who bought back in 1994,(before the US ban on them) he put it in his safe and that's were it has been every since.
it has to be evil, black, and a weapon, or I don't like it,.......... Anyway, it's not bad for a $200 Delta Gold Cup.
Aaaah, a man after my own heart!
I just never liked the triangle emblem grips,...kinda reminds me of those strange bumper stickers you see on certian people's cars if you know what I mean,...LOL.
That reminds me of the ol' Magnum P.I. gun, they used an ol' Colt comercial 9mm 1911 in the show as his service pistol because no one carried 45 acp blanks in the islands.......

Interesting bit of trivia, I will save that in my data banks for a time around a campfire discussion

If you watch the show opener with the theme song, you will see him slam a mag in the gun, the mag clearly has the 9mm/38super crease in the side. When he points the blank gun at someone, you can usually notice it has a smaller bore and thicker barrel. I have seen a few closeups of one that looks like a 45acp though, not sure why they seem to bounce back and forth between the two.

When the reruns return here, I will take a look. I am not familiar with a 1911 in 9mm (just doesn't make sense to me) but I will try to see it. Does the muzzle look smaller? I guess I don't pay enough attention, the emmy quality acting keeps me too focused
